Hand made pre-patent model adjustable wrench
I've sold patent models before, but I've never sold a mock-up that was made before the patent model. Designed by George L. Wackerow of Mellette, S.D. this crude work up would have preceded turning it over to a professional patent model maker for submission to the patent office. The drawing shown in the photographs is not included in the lot. It was found by a helpful person on the Net.
All things Kewpie
Includes several Kewpie bisque figurines, some of which retain their paper labels. The soldier is missing his gun barrel. The largest has a chip out of the blue-collar. The next largest has shoulder chips. The huggers are in good condition and have a paper label. The shoulder head has been glued through the front. Also includes matches and a coffee mug from Kewpie canned food by Mammoth Canning company of Sussex. And finally, a Kewpie light bulb and a Kewpie glass candy container, which would later serve as a toothpick holder.

It appears that it had 2 metal patches on it at one time, but they are now gone. 22 x 6.5 x 15
