This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to obtain paperwork from the 1800s all related to the wagon company. As often as not, these types of records are simply "pitched" because they're considered irrelevant or useless. Here is a snapshot into the commercial world of wagon and vehicle making, the many businesses that provided materials to it and the day to day business dealings of one of Sheboygan's early commercial firms. 5 boxes stacked full.

Here's a rare bird. The WSR is still "in business" in Allouez having been founded in 1898. Now known as the Green Bay Correctional Institution, a Maximum Security prison, it still plods along under constant threat of closure and updating. My dad, who had got himself into a bit of legal trouble as a teen, was travelling past it on a road trip with my grandparents when he decided to start quietly humming, "Here's to Dear Old Alma Mater" from the backseat. According to dad, my grandparents were not amused.
